The framing studio offers our customers almost unlimited choices in mat board, molding, and glazing selections. It is capable of almost any style and type of framing including full on conservation/museum framing.
"The prime directive that I follow is to protect and preserve whatever it is that I am framing. Since the 70's I have been framing art works of every type, size, shape and medium. One of my mottos has always been that if it's not breathing, I can probably frame it!"
Glazing: There are many choices available from clear to conservation or museum glass as well as plexiglass.
Mat board or matting: Thousands of choices are available from 3 different manufactures and all are conservation quality or better.
Molding or frame: Thousands of choices of metal or wood molding are available from both local and national suppliers.
The process: When you come in with your art work, I will assist you in selecting from a wide variety of samples that we have on hand to match the best mat and molding to your art work (see photos below). This can be a gradual but rewarding process to achieve the most artistic and complimentary framing combination possible.
